Beltug is the largest Belgian association of CIOs and digital technology leaders from businesses and public institutions, with more than 1900 members. Beltug builds on the priorities of these ICT managers, bringing companies together to learn from each other, and lobbying with public entities at the Belgian and European levels to clarify key issues including 5G, privacy, software asset management, e-trust services, dependence on cloud providers, cyber security and more. At the EU level, Beltug works closely together with business user groups in France (Cigref), Germany (Voice) and the Netherlands (CIO Platform).
Danielle has received considerable recognition for her efforts, including a Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2016 CIO Leadership summit. She was named one of Global Telecoms Business’s Top 50 Woman to Watch 2016. And she was Computable Belgium’s 2018 IT Person of the Year. Danielle is one of the Digital Minds for Belgium, launched by the Belgian Secretary of State for the Digital Agenda Mathieu Michel.
